Highly anticipated 2nd full length album from these masters of Japanese death / grind duo Pharmacist is coming with new full-length,
"Flourishing Extremities On Unspoiled Mental Grounds", expanding even further
their style with songwriting complexity and grotesque atmosphere.
With 7 tracks clocking in around 46 minutes, they bring old school Carcass style
death metal and shifting in to various dimensions, through the goregrind to
progressive sub-genres.
With guest lead guitar, carried by Andrew Lee (Ripped To Shreds), this piece of
disgusting work is filled with grace instrumental pieces, which will keep you repeat
this record for a long time, finding more and more nuances in this intricated, yet delicate rotting mash.
Includes unlimited streaming of Flourishing Extremities On Unspoiled Mental Grounds
via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

Extremely inventive and multifaceted sci-fi prog death, just like iridescent ethereal world on the cover art. Best band's achievement up to date. And easily in 2023 AOTY list Dmitry Nevozhay

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic
